Leon County Expo Center

Leon County is an ideal location for a multi-purpose exposition center and arena. Centered at the crossroads of Interstate 45 and Highway 79, Leon County is mid-way between Dallas, Texas and Houston, Texas, and also halfway between Austin, Texas, and Shreveport, Louisiana. A non-profit corporation is being formed to investigate the possibilities of an expo center located in Leon County that would serve the following possible uses:

Emergency shelter
Convention center
Rodeo, cutting horse competition, roping competition, and event arena
Livestock shows
Sporting events
Education and training
Cultural events
