Chamber Information

The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of citizens who are investing their time and money in a community development program – working together to improve the economic, civic and cultural well being of the City of Buffalo.

Membership in the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce is an opportunity to have your business referred (we receive numerous calls and written inquiries wanting specific buying information). Other benefits include, but not limited to, listing on the Chamber website, ribbon cuttings, furnishing community profile and various data used to encourage businesses to locate in Buffalo.

The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce belongs to its members. The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit business organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as such under IRS Code number 501c(6). Your dues investment means that the dividends are used for programs based on consistent progress.

The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce is governed by an elected Board of Directors representing your views as an investor and partner. The Board meets once a month on the 3rd Thursday of the month. A general meeting is held on a quarterly basis. Your Chamber operates on a part-time business day schedule with one staff member to provide service. The business hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Chamber’s telephone number is 903-322-5810.

Listed below is your Chamber’s schedule for membership in the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce. Your consideration in a positive way is very important to our City’s progress.

Business Membership:
$25.00 Annually
All area businesses are encouraged to be a member.

Individual Membership:
$25.00 Annually
Individual memberships are available to retired or non-working persons, ministers, government or city employees, and other persons, such as real estate associates, bank personnel and other employees

Senior Citizens
Senior citizens, 65 years or over or retired, are encouraged to join as individuals.

Non-Profit Organizations:
All civic clubs or organizations with non-profit status are encourage to join.

Votes:
All members receive one vote each.
