Buffalo is located at the crossroads of I-45 and US Highway 79, halfway between Dallas and Houston.

Our community has thrived for over 150 years, situated along the major thoroughfares in east Texas and the railroad. With a pleasant climate and friendly citizens, Buffalo continues to grow and prosper.

The newest addition to our area is the Leon County Expo Center, an events complex hosting musical concerts; competitions in rodeo, ropings, cook-offs, dog shows, and varied equestrian events; and home to the Leon County 4-H.
